Not sure where or why the idea of BG calling it a day as the Marist HC even came to pass. He loves the game, the school and coaching, so he's not going anywhere soon. AND If and When that day comes, Erin is the one.
A great example of coaches in waiting.....Yes I know Apples and Oranges.....WBB and DI Football......Oklahoma......Stoops retires and Lincoln Riley the OC in.....All Good in the Palace on the Plains.
* TG28, it ended up being Air-Fried "Shoe String Fries" with regular cheddar and seasonal salt.....still good though.

Noone knows for a fact who the next coach will be when Giorgis retires. Hopefully we have 7-10 more years before they have to choose the successor.

I know Holly did not do well at UT but the expectations she had were so high. She got to 2 elite eights in 7 years as a head coach which most schools would take in the SEC. She had a decent record and could recruit, but was just never able to get to the same level as Pat. So I would not call that a failure.

She almost got them out of the NCAA tournament for the first time in like 30 years

Saying that BG should be able to retire whenever the heck he wants, from a program he built from scratch. It is a joke that there is even conversation otherwise. I believe he will get back in the MAAC title conversation next year, but Quinny is rolling at another level right now.

Everyone wants Giorgis here as long as possible

Correct. It is going to be either Rider or Marist. You could make a case for either as both are led by high quality impactful Seniors.

They are the hunted. It is dopey for us to think they will have a lull. This is the challenge of Giorgis career. He has always been the top dog. He has always shown he is simply better. Now he has this competitor who has shown she is actually on his par or better, and she isn't even a higher level conference coach. Everything I think about Giorgis tells me he wins the conference 3-4 times out of next 5 years and then retires on top. BUT, right now, Cruella has the right to brag, lets be honest.

I agree that Rider and Marist are the favorites at this time for next season. That is why next year is so important for BG. I never said there are people on this message board that want him gone, but believe it or not there are other people who impact the womens basketball program more then you. Not being critical, as I said it is a joke. Giorgis should have the job for life if he wants it

So here we are, finals for the students, and summer break is upon us. Might I suggest a new thread for the summer...."Following WBB summer training camp"? I'm sure someone (Nomar) will have some insight on recruiting, summer day and elite camps for the kids and prospects, summer classes and work-outs for the WBB team.
Maybe even some real time updates on the McCann Center renovations, which I found was a sore spot for students that attended Marist over the past few years, several bad reviews included....no Greek life....who cares, just an excuse to drink too much, banging on the city of Poughkeepsie; no good Bars.....again just an excuse to drink excessively....lol, although I found Poughkeepsie to be an "Nice" community. Other nit noids include: no gym/workout accommodations for students, no 24 hour food available on campus, no student life on weekends and outside of class on campus and the biggest complaint.....It's why too cold November through March".......really ....it's New York......but there where a lot of shout-outs for Marist swimming and Women's Basketball as "on campus entertainment"..... On a bright note, although there were 33 bad reviews of Marist...there were over 400 GREAT reviews of the school...... As I went to UT El Paso, I really can't comment on student's experiences at Marist....Go Miners!

I'm sure someone (Nomar) will have some insight on recruiting, summer day and elite camps for the kids and prospects, summer classes and work-outs for the WBB team. - I don't get as much info on summer day camps as one might want to believe, if someone knew someone who was actually at them, then they might give better insight??Maybe even some real time updates on the McCann Center renovations, which I found was a sore spot for students that attended Marist over the past few years, several bad reviews included ....no Greek life.... (that was something I loved about Marist - seemed to limit "clicks", everyone knew everyone and everyone went to every party, football, lax, soccer, basketball, computer science majors all same) who cares, just an excuse to drink too much (never needed an excuse and certainly didn't need frats to drink too much) , banging on the city of Poughkeepsie; no good Bars..... (ah back in the day when a library card got you into all the bars, Sidetracks, Skinner's, Rennies, Let's Dance, Noah's, Berties, P&Gs, etc) again just an excuse to drink excessively....lol, although I found Poughkeepsie to be an "Nice" community. Other nit noids include: no gym/workout accommodations for students, (go for a long run it is free and great view) no 24 hour food available on campus, (the old Barge run by students, and Provazano's delivered whenever) no student life on weekends and outside of class on campus and the biggest complaint (what is "student life"? , you are on a campus with 4000 friends, if you don't have a "student life then that is all your fault) (NYC is a 40 min train ride).....It's why too cold November through March".......really ....it's New York......but there where a lot of shout-outs for Marist swimming and Women's Basketball as "on campus entertainment"..... On a bright note, although there were 33 bad reviews of Marist...there were over 400 GREAT reviews of the school...... I will pull my resources available and see what 411 I can bring to the table this summer for discussion.......no promises though.
