I really know nothing about this kid, but the fact that he played at Phillips Exeter is significant. The Exeter coach is a very good friend of Maker. Duncan Robinson came through the same coach (Tilton). If Maker took him, Tilton 100% endorsed him. The kid is probably very good.

Some Daugherty Highlights. Obviously he reclassified to 2015. 2013 High School and AAUThe NERR site said he was fully recovered from his injury and back at full strength before the end of this past H.S. season.

That's why he might have been ranked lower. I like the fact that he came back and scored 21. He might have fallen off the radar.. He seems to be able to do a whole lot of everything, including playing a little d..

It's funny. We know about this signing and the POJO reported Funk and says "there might be one more to come".. lol

Did one actually sign an NLI and other didn't?.....coach can only talk about players that have either signed an NLI or have enrolled at the college

That's probably it Nomar. It's just funny that we got a little bit of a heads up. I'm excited about this class. It's always nice when you have guys who are consistent shooters. Parker looks like a guy who scores in many ways. Lamb is a freak athlete , if healthy. Funk and Daugherty look like marksmen with pretty good all around games. Definitely think he got guys that fit his system...

Any reason his signing hasn't been announced? One poster did say he was possibly a walk on. I would be surprised by that. Although his rankings in his state were quite low, he did have some other D1 interest. But, why hasn't he signed his LOI?

That would be one hell of a walk-on.. He's got a pretty nice skill set. Moves pretty well for a guy his size. Great shooting mechanics. Good handle. A local kid around here (Kevin Huerter) is getting offers from big-time offers and I don't see much of a difference between him and Funk and Daugherty. Plus, Funk and Daugherty aren't pencil thin... He played against weaker competition too. It's funny how that works. Doesn't hurt that he's the son of Siena's radio announcer and a former Siena player Tom Huerter. He doesn't look that much different to me than Funk and Daugherty. Good shooter..Good feel for the game.. But ND and Syracuse???
