Lewis has to hit these 2 FT this time though. Marist up 8.

Lewis misses another layup and then FF goes down and Johnson gets fouled by Lewis. STOP MISSING THE DAMN LAYUPS!

Lewis this time makes both clutch free throws with 4 to go. Marist up by 9.

Now FF hits a 3, Marist up by 6 with 3 to go. This is where having 3 ballhandlers in Lee, Curry and Hart will help now. In many games earlier this year, it was just Lee.

Good win, what the hell was wrong with Makers voice? Guess he was highly intense.

Just got home. A win, finally, they played all aspects of the game well. They rebounded, played some very good defense and played well on offense. No down periods like the last game. Actually Marist came out in the second half, they went on a run and kind of took over the game, if I can say they took over the game, LOL. They all played well. Nothing negative to say about anyone's play. Maker is finally getting through to them. Maker only played 8 guys in today's game. The shorter rotation seems to have worked.
Yankee, to answer your question about Maker's voice. He was trying to yell instructions to the team, in the final minutes of the game, at the far end of the court during a break for a free throw by FF and the guys did not hear him. Paul Lee had to yell the instructions to the guys.

Congrats to the guys for their first league and home win. Marist shot pretty poorly in this one, however Hart, Lewis and Curry were able to use their quickness to get in the lane and draw fouls. That's where Marist won this game. 30-36 from the line for Lewis, Hart and Curry.
yankee I agree on the layup point with Lewis. He gets to the basket pretty much any possession he wants but he leaves alot of them off the rim. He'd probable avg 25 instead of 20 if he made all his layups. Great to see Hart nail a big three in the second half. He needed that badly, just 3-22 from 3 since returning.
Troug certainly had one of his better games with 11 rebounds and 5 steals. It helped that FF's best big Sidibe didn't play.
Hope this win gives them confidence cause they will need to play even better to gain a win against anyone else this year not named Niagara.

Congrats to the Men on their first league win. Hope the good feeling carry over to even better play.
All I heard was the pregame show then had to be out for the afternoon, but welcome back Ed Weir!

Team has displayed great fortitude despite the results. That bodes well. Curry has been great. A lot of times I think Lewis expends such effort getting to the rim that the shot becomes more difficult than it may seem. Would love one out of two in Buffalo..
